Happy New Year!

Hey its Me M! Happy New Year! First of all, if you were inspired at all to save the world by my last post, then good for you! This planet needs more people like you guys! Check out this website that I've heard about, and if you haven't heard about it by now, then where have you been? Go ahead! Click on it! http://www.dosomething.org/ Originally I wanted to devote this complete blog to stoppin global warming but I figured I better put some other stuff on here. So if anyone has any advice bout what I should post about just drop me a comment! I also wanna make a shout out 2 these cool books I just read called the Maximum Ride series! Luv ya Fang! You all would understand if you read the books :P.

Because it's the end of the year, I also wanna make a list about the coolest things in 2008 ;]

coolest t.v. show of 2008- NCIS!!!!!!
best band of 2008- Jonas Brothers!
Best food of 2008- hm. L told me I should put this on so I'll just say nachos or any other Mexican food! aloha!
Coolest cellphone of 2008- voyager from Verizon, duh ^_^

By the way, even though we just started we're not getting so many viewers, so tell your friends bout this! tell your friends to tell their friends! Well at Least We're Trying

Hey everybody readin! whats up? this is officially our first post eva! and if you haven't picked up on it by now, were tryin to save the world. From what exactly, you ask? Why, global warming of course!! Before you exit out of this page because you either think this is stupid, or assume that you know everything about this issue, realize that you are choosing to ignore the problem that might soon end the world as we know it. Sounds pretty important now doesn't it? Right now, you all probably have many questions, such as why exactly is this issue so big? or what can we possibly do to stop it? But trust me I'm not over exaggerating, and there is something we can do to help.

Now the answer we've all been waiting for... what can we do to help?

I'll list a few of the most important and easiest ways you can help.

1. Take shorter showers. (did you realize that your showers are 2/3 or your entire water heating cost??? By cutting down on your time in the shower you'll be saving approximately 350 lbs. of carbon dioxide a year! imagine how much your helping the earth! Not to mention the 99 extra dollars you'll have during the end of the year to spend.)

2. Turn off the lights when you leave a room. (You Will be saving approximately 1000 lbs. of carbon dioxide and around 256 dollars a year!)

3. Spread the word- just like me. Make a blog or even a website, leave a comment, and give me the link. If I like it, I'll post even post it on here and help you get the word out. :]

4. Don't idle your car. If car idles for more than 10 seconds, it is equivalent to the fuel required to restart it. So instead of idling your car when your dropping your kids off to school, or picking up your friends for a night out, kill the engine.

5. Instead of watching your pretty screen saver when your computer is idle, shut it down to sleep mode. Not only does it help to save power, but if everyone gets to doing this, it's gonna save the world.

6. Recycle and GO GREEN.
